At that time (1983), the Hong Kong Chinese had not taken over the city as they did nearing 1997. So Chinese Canadians were still a very small minority. Yet, when I started high school, there were three Daniel Wong's, including me, all in the same year! They had to differentiate us by our middle initial. From that point on, my name was never my own. Since then I have gone my the name of Danny, Danny J, DJ, J, Dan, Daniel, Daniel J, Dan J. Please let me know where the monthly meetings are held. dan wong Hey,

Worse is when the credit bureau confuses you for someone else because of having the same name. Believe this, I can never get a mortgage approved without going through a million hoops... *sigh*.
